Homemade Veg Pizza! (Updated)

So today my mum was doing a little experiment with trying to make a Pizza in the BadBoy. It tasted quite nice for a first try!  Totally worth it 😀

2 cups –  flour (of choice.  Spelt works really well)

1/2 teaspoon – baking powder

Half a teaspoon – himalayan salt

Half a teaspoon – italian herbs

1 ounce – raw butter

1 egg

Enough liquid (e.g water, yogurt, milk, milk kefir) to make into a pliable dough

  • Rub butter into dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder, italian herbs)
  • Add egg (and any liquid to make dough)
  • Let dough sit for 10 to 15 mins
  • Prepare veg of choice (can put straight onto pizza base but I prefer to slightly stir fry in coconut oil with a bit of garlic and a pinch of salt – few seconds only)
  • Roll out dough to fit base of Bad Boy
  • Grease base and sides with coconut oil
  • Place rolled out dough into BadBoy. Turn it on to 150°C with a 13 min timer.
  • Add tomato puree to base
  • Layer veg, cheese and olives
  • Cover BadBoy and have a cup of tea (10-15 minutes), Lol
  • Heat grill and place BadBoy under a gill at 180C until browned – about 10 mins
